ACQUIRE AND ANALYZE DIGITAL EVIDENCE FROM MOBILE DEVICES
 Oxygen Software nnounced the availability of Oxygen Forensic Suite 2, which is designed for forensic extraction of electronic evidence from cell phones, smartphones and other mobile devices. The tool is intended for law enforcement officers, computer forensic examiners, corporate and private investigators. The users of the suite may have minimal computer skills and may be new to the field of mobile phone forensics.
Oxygen Forensic Suite extracts all possible data from the device memory, including the SIM card, contacts list with all contact fields; incoming/outgoing/missed calls; receive and delivery reports log; GPRS traffic counters log; calendar events; SMS, MMS, E-mail messages; multimedia (photos, pictures, videos, melodies, text documents, applications); voice records; Life Blog. You can see the deleted messages that have not been written over. The amount of extracted data depends on the model of the phone. The software extracts data in the forensically sound manner without altering it in anyway so it can be presented as evidence in court.

MiTV's 018 broadcast mobile TV service and Nokia Siemens Networks bring commercial DVB-H to consumersGlobal mobility leader Nokia and MiTV Corporation Sdn Bhd (MiTV) today announced their collaboration to launch a commercial mobile broadcast TV service, based on Digital Video Broadcast - Handheld (DVB-H) technology, in Malaysia in the second half of 2007.
Announced at Nokia Connection 2007 in Singapore, and also in conjunction with Broadcast Asia 2007, the agreement is among the first of Nokia's commercial mobile TV service rollouts utilizing DVB-H technology globally. Earlier last year, Vietnam became the first market in APAC to roll out commercial DVB-H services.

Nokia 6110 Navigator takes the 'Long Way Down' with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman

The Nokia 6110 Navigator, which began shipping this week, will have its navigation capabilities tested as it accompanies actors Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman as they take the "Long Way Down" to Cape Town on BMW motorcycles. With the Nokia 6110 Navigator routing the path, best friends Ewan and Charley have begun their monumental motorcycle journey from John O'Groats, Scotland to Cape Town, South Africa, with a number of stops planned along the way. Long Way Down follows on from 2004's Long Way Round where Ewan and Charley motorbiked around the world from London to New York over 115 days.
